Rules of the road:

Ride in the bike lane or street

Do no ride scooters on sidewalks or in crosswalks marked “Dismount Zone” in the center of Bloomington

Must be 18 or older

Obey all traffic laws

One person per device

Do not text while riding

Ride on multiuse trails, multiuse paths, and on uncrowded sidewalks outside the city center

Park Responsibly

Park the scooter in a bike rack or in another lawful spot on public property that does not block the right-of-way, limit access for individuals with disabilities, risk damaging private or public property, or jeopardize public safety.

Campus Guidelines

  • On campus, reckless or negligent operation of scooters is prohibited
  • Scooters on campus must be parked upright in a bike rack
  • Scooters may never be parked in pedestrian pathways, vehicle parking spaces, ADA ramps, stairwells, inside buildings, or locked to signs, light poles, fences, benches, handrails, or other fixtures

 

Hours of Operation in Bloomington

  • Standing scooters can operate between 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM from April until October, and between 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM from November until March
  • E-bikes and sit-down scooters can operate 24/7

It is our mission to provide mobility services to all. Veo offers Bloominton residents Veo Access our discounted fare program. Anyone who qualifies for a Bloomington local, Indiana State, or federal assistance program, such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Healthy Indiana Program (HIP), is eligible for Veo Access Bloomington discounts.
