Nashua, you had us at hello! We’re just a couple months past the official launch of VeoRide in Nashua, and community members have warmly embraced the mobility share concept and welcomed us into the City. We couldn’t be happier to be here!
VeoRiders have logged more than 10,000 rides since June 2. In fact, Keith was our 10,000th rider on Aug. 7. Thanks to people like Keith, and supportive local government officials, our presence has spurred the City to continue improving the local bike infrastructure. Our ridership has confirmed the importance of alternative transportation options, and the value of multi-modal travel.
We believe that the success of mobility shares in Nashua and other communities stems from our efforts to educate new bike riders and encourage them to be good stewards on and off the bike. Our current bike techs are working hard seven days a week to keep our fleet of 200 bikes moving, and ready for sharing.
This Saturday, Aug. 18, we look forward to greeting the community at the family-friendly Gate City Brewfest at Historic Holman Stadium from 1 pm to 5 pm. We’ll be on site to demo the bikes and get people set up on the app. We’re excited to meet new riders and share Veoride with everyone. Stop by and let us know how you VeoRide!
