Please consult the Veo app and only park in spaces or rights of way maintained by Rutgers University. (Hint: this is usually in front of or next to a Rutgers building.) If you are unable to end your ride via the app it is likely you’re in a “no parking zone”. The app can direct you to an appropriate parking location. When parking, utilize public bike racks or corrals and designated bike share parking areas. Scooters can also be parked upright on hard surfaces in the section of the sidewalk between the curb and the pedestrian through zone where benches, utility poles, tree pits, and bicycle racks live.
When parking scooters, do not block the pedestrian throughway on sidewalks, crosswalks, driveways, alleys, bicycle lanes, or vehicle travel lanes.
Please do not park in the frontage zone or pedestrian through zone of the sidewalk, on a sidewalk segment where no landscape or furniture zone is present, or on a sidewalk segment where the curb is in a bus, light rail, or other transit curb zone, in a shuttle bus zone, in a taxicab stand, in a loading zone, disabled parking zone, or any parking lots, decks, or garages.
In Highland Park, you must park in a designated corral if our destination is along Raritan or Woodbridge Avenues. These corrals can be found at the following locations:
If you’re unable to end your ride, please consult the app to locate the nearest parking zone. Once located at the parking zone the app will let you end your ride.
