Thank you for promoting sustainable and affordable transportation through Syracuse’s shared bike and scooter program. As riders, here’s why we’re grateful to get around on two wheels:
Increased Mobility
According to Veo’s latest rider survey, 53% of Syracuse riders do not own or have access to a car, showing how shared bikes and scooters are filling a critical transportation gap.
Less Congestion
26% of Veo rides in Syracuse directly replace car trips, meaning Veo’s service has replaced tens of thousands of car trips in 2024 alone. For every Veo trip that replaces a car trip, there is one less car on the road causing congestion and taking up a parking space.
Affordable Access
Nearly two-thirds of low income riders state that having access to Veo has improved their ability to get to important places like work and school affordably.
