Meet Rover
For years, shared micromobility has helped millions of people get around cities without a car. But for many others, hopping on a traditional bike or standing scooter has never felt like an option.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Rover, our new electric trike.
Starting today in Denver, riders can unlock Rover alongside the rest of Veo’s fleet, giving more people another way to ride with added stability, comfort, and carrying capacity.
Built with the community
Over the past two years, the Veo team has worked with hundreds of riders and more than 20 organizations—including disability advocates, older adults, and community groups—to understand how to make shared transportation work for more people.
That included partners like the Disability Mobility Initiative, the Parkinson’s Foundation, New Disabled South, Capitol Hill Village, and many others. We also drew on feedback from our annual rider survey, where nearly one in four riders identified as having a disability.
The result is a vehicle shaped by the people it was built to serve.
What makes Rover different?

Like every Veo vehicle, Rover was designed in-house by Veo with the goal of helping more people get where they need to go without a car.
Expanding who shared micromobility works for
When Veo launched the industry’s first seated scooter at scale in 2020, riders quickly showed us there was demand for vehicles that felt more stable and approachable.
Since then, we’ve continued expanding our fleet with new vehicle types designed for different riders and different trip types—from seated scooters to cargo e-bikes, two-person e-bikes, and now Rover.
Our goal is to offer a mixed fleet of vehicles so more people can choose micromobility for everyday transportation.
Why Denver?
Denver is one of North America’s leading shared micromobility cities. With an extensive network of bike lanes and strong demand for shared transportation, it was the natural place to introduce Rover.
With approximately 9,000 Veo vehicles operating across the city, riders now have five different vehicle types to choose from:

• Cosmo seated scooter
• Astro standing scooter
• Apollo Cargo e-bike
• Apollo Duo two-seater e-bike
Together, they create one of North America’s largest and most diverse shared micromobility fleets.
What’s next
Rover represents our latest step in our mission to make clean transportation accessible to all.
As we continue working with our riders—and those who haven’t yet taken their first ride—we’ll keep listening, learning, and building new vehicles that expand who can ride and what trips are possible.
Because everyone deserves the option to get around on two (or three) wheels.
