WHERE CAN YOU PARK A VEO?

Veo is a point to point micromobility share program, meant to get riders from point A to B. We encourage riders to park in areas designated for bike or scooter parking including but not limited to public bike racks or other parking zones as designated by the Veo app. Riders and non-riders in Syracuse should consult the Veo app for help locating the 45+ parking hubs in the service area. Riders in Syracuse may also park Veo devices on  public sidewalks within the “furniture zone.” When parking on public sidewalks ensure vehicles have at least 3 feet of clearance on the sidewalk for accessibility. Never block crosswalks, ADA accessibility, or park in a way that may endanger others. It is important that the bike or scooter does not impede pedestrian access, nor block car traffic or encroach on private property. Parking compliance is monitored by local Veo staff.

Where should you not park a Veo?

  • In an area where signs are posted indicating that e-scooter parking is prohibited

  • At any entrance to or exit from any building

  • On any landscaped area

  • Parked scooters should not block sidewalks, ramps, driveways, doorways, loading zones, public benches, ADA access, or transit stops.

  • Scooters should not be parked in a way that could endanger pedestrians (such as parking with the platform jutting into the walkway, posing a tripping risk).

How do you park a Veo?

Bikes and scooters must be parked upright, with the kickstand down.
