Park at public bike racks or corrals and designated bike share parking areas. Scooters can also be parked upright on hard surfaces in the section of the sidewalk between the curb and the pedestrian through zone where benches, utility poles, tree pits, and bicycle racks live.
If ending a ride where there is no sidewalk, you may park scooters upright in a safe location on the City right-of-way where it will not impede pedestrian or vehicle travel.
When parking scooters, do not block the pedestrian throughway on sidewalks, crosswalks, driveways, alleys, bicycle lanes, or vehicle travel lanes.
Do not park in the frontage zone or pedestrian through zone of the sidewalk, on a sidewalk segment where no landscape or furniture zone is present, or on a sidewalk segment where the curb is in a bus, light rail, or other transit curb zone, in a shuttle bus zone, in a taxicab stand, in a loading zone, or disabled parking zone.
